About us

Impress is a full service marketing agency based on the outskirts of Warminster. Founded in 1999, Impress originally served as the vehicle for the freelance activities of Andrew Pinnell and Martin Palmer, before both quit their respective jobs in 2004 to pursue the agency vision on a full-time basis. A single office in Warminster High Street with just a single Apple Mac and some cheap furniture from Ikea was the starting point, and it is hard to believe the growth of the company in the subsequent four years.

Fuelled by client demand and the phenomenal possibilities offered by the internet, Impress quickly embraced the digital revolution and began building websites in addition to providing graphic design and print services. We moved into a suite of purpose-built offices in The Design Centre a year later and began recruiting a team of marketing professionals who shared the founder’s desire to create a one-stop-shop for marketing services both on and offline.

Like all growing companies, there were some painful moments along the way, but the arrival of Nina Simpson from Audience Systems in 2007 added balance and solidity to Impress’s undoubted creative flair. We have now built over one hundred websites, developed an extensive client portfolio and successfully recruited a team of diverse talents committed to the Impress culture.

In 2008 we actually began working on our own brand and expanded the full-time team to seven, plus a raft of exceptional freelancers and suppliers; even the mighty Google officially joined our roster and we now benefit from having cutting-edge expertise across all marketing channels.
