Ascentric and Fundsdirect

In August 2008, Impress Media won a four-way agency pitch to manage the rebranding strategy for sister brands, Ascentric and Fundsdirect. Based in Bath, this financial group provides a range of integrated investment products targeted at both Independent Financial Advisors and consumers.

In order to maintain and build separate brand identities for these very distinct target audiences, a strategic and cohesive approach was required to manage this project together with a fast paced rebranding exercise to design and produce a diverse range of marketing collateral including presentation folders, stationery, emailers and website templates, plus pens, conference badges, exhibition stands and signage.

Working at breakneck speed, Impress devised a series of brand design guidelines to enable the smooth production of required marketing collateral. Positioning the company as a high-end, dynamic and trustworthy financial provider was central to the project as both Ascentric and Fundsdirect operate in a very competitive commercial market.

The project is constantly evolving and Impress is now assisting the company with research-led brand strategies, search engine optimisation and website integration.
