Audience Systems

Audience Systems (AS) has been a client of Impress since 2005, when Nina Simpson (then Marketing Manager for AS) and Andrew Pinnell began to work together to build the company’s presence both online and offline. The Westbury firm, which manufactures seating for sports and entertainment venues, saw that the way their customers were sourcing products was changing – with more and more turning to the internet for inspiration.

A revamp of the website produced an information-rich resource for Audience Systems’ markets, and alongside it an extranet provided a single source of information for the company’s dealers and partners worldwide. Since then, a clutch of foreign language websites have been developed for some of the company’s key overseas markets, and a search engine optimisation programme boosted visitors to the English-language site to around 200 per day – a great achievement for such a specialist site. Meanwhile, Impress revamped AS on paper with designs for a set of literature, folders, adverts and more.

In 2007, Nina moved to Impress but still manages the Audience Systems account – acting as an outsourced Marketing Manager organising everything from events to database management to PR.
