Nina Simpson
Marketing Manager
Nina joined Impress in 2007 following a career in marketing for various manufacturing companies. Nina’s strengths lie in her broad marketing experience, strategic implementation, project management skills and a relentless drive for perfection. She is also a fully qualified marketer, holding a Professional Postgraduate Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and having gained a first class honours degree in German and Business Studies from the University of Warwick in 1999.
Before joining Impress, Nina enjoyed a five year spell as Marketing Manager for Audience Systems Ltd, where she developed a marketing department from scratch. Her wide-ranging remit included research, communications, online marketing, product strategy and database management, with her efforts contributing in no small part to the company’s healthy rise in profitability. She has also worked in the communications department for Herman Miller Inc producing technical documentation and marketing literature.
Nina’s background on the client side gives her an invaluable insight into our clients’ motivations, needs and frustrations. Her role at Impress encompasses anything that drives our clients’ businesses forward – whether writing crisp copy, briefing designers and developers or helping clients determine the most effective marketing strategy for their business. She is the hub of the agency and has been instrumental in our growth since 2007.
